A handy and portable step!
Height adjustable step designed especially for use in bathroom, to help when you step into and out of the bath
Versatile and can be used anywhere around the home, example: kitchen for reaching into cupboards
Consists of three stacking, sturdy plastic sections that stack together to create 103 mm (4 inch) high step
Can also be used at 77 mm (3 in) or 51 mm (2 in) high if required
Safe and comfortable to use, textured, slip-resistant surface, non-slip pads on underside and four supportive legs
The Nuvo adjustable bath and household step from NRS Healthcare is a handy, portable, plastic step which is perfect for using in the bathroom or anywhere else in the house where a high step causes an issue. The step is ideal for an elderly person or someone with mobility difficulties or an injury which means they cannot raise their legs high enough to step into the bath safely without assistance.
Versatile height for a range of activities
Although primarily functioning as a bath step, the step is very versatile and can be used anywhere in the home where you might need extra height. This might be when reaching into cupboards or onto shelves, when getting out of bed or when opening high windows. It can also be useful for children who need help to reach the sink, bed, toilet or bath.
The step is made from sturdy and durable moulded plastic and is easily height adjustable. It is made up of three sections which stack together to create the maximum height of 103 mm (4 in). The top section can be removed to create a 77 mm (3 in) high step while removing the next section also will give a height of 51 mm (2 in). The step is supplied with four support legs that slot in easily on the underside of the section being used at the bottom. If you require an even higher step, the sections can be stacked up to six high (using a second Nuvo bath step) to give a 178 mm (7 in) maximum step height.
Step with confidence
The surface of each step is comfortable to stand on with a dimpled effect which makes it slip-resistant even if you have wet feet. In addition, the step remains sturdy on any even floor because it has non-slip pads on the underside of each section in the four corners and on the supportive legs. The step has a recess on the side of each section allowing it to be picked up easily from the floor as and when required. It can easily be taken with you if you are going on holiday or visiting people.
The step is attractively designed in bright white, which complements a wide range of colour schemes and styles. It is made from polypropylene and can easily be wiped clean with mild disinfectant. The length of the step measures 500 mm (19.5 in) and it is 395 mm (15.5 in) wide. The step also has a very generous maximum user weight of 190 kg (30 st) and is not suitable for anyone over this weight.
Not suitable for users weighing over 190 kg.

The Nuvo Adjustable Bath Step comprises three non-slip, polypropylene sections that can be stacked, one on top of the other, to produce steps of different heights. For stability, they overlap by 25mm (1 inch) and can be used with up to four supporting columns. A single step produces a 50mm (2 inch) rise. A second step raises the height to 75mm (3 inches) and the third section raises is further to the maximum 100mm (4 inches). Alternatively, two steps can be laid end to end and the third placed on top to produce a low, very stable tiered step. Multiple packs can also be stacked to a maximum of six sections. Each step has non-slip feet that will grip securely to various bathroom floor types and the bright white finish is designed to match or complement most modern bathroom styles.

Who is eligible for VAT relief?
You must be 'chronically sick or disabled' to qualify for VAT relief. The HMRC comment on this is as follows. A person is 'chronically sick or disabled' if they either:
have a physical or mental impairment that has a long-term and severe effect on their ability to carry out everyday activities;
have a condition that doctors treat as a chronic sickness - like diabetes, for example;
are terminally ill
VAT Relief on our Disability Aids
All products on the Aids for Mobility website are flagged with an option to claim VAT relief during Checkout if it applies to that item. When you add a zero-rated product or service to your Basket, you will be asked to tick a checkbox to confirm that you, or the person for whom you are buying the item, are eligible for VAT Relief.
How VAT relief works
If you are claiming VAT Relief you will be asked to complete an extra few questions during Checkout, where we will ask you to provide brief details of your disability and confirmation that the product is for 'personal or domestic use'. We will keep a record of this declaration along with your order details. You can then buy the product(s) in your Basket at a price that excludes VAT. You will be asked to make this declaration each time you place an order that includes zero-rated products. It is a legal requirement that we record this information for every order, and we apologise for the inconvenience.
